About me.
My name is Gabriel Monti. I’m 40 years old, born in Mexico, citizen of the world.
When I was little, my parents got divorced. It marked me deeply.
As a survival mechanism, I started building invisible walls between myself and new people. I became introverted, guarded, and quiet in ways most kids around me weren’t.
But that same pain gave me something I now consider one of my greatest gifts.
I became a sharp observer.
I became capable of teaching myself the fundamentals of almost anything that caught my interest.
That’s how I ended up speaking five languages. Playing musical instruments, composing and recording my own rock album in 2010.
It’s also how I learned to build an online knowledge business from the ground up, from designing education programs, to creating content, to building a personal brand.
And it’s how I’ve been learning the most important thing of all: understanding my flaws and virtues to become a better human being.
Today, I live in Mexico with my wife Eve and my dog Leopold. I spend my days focused on three things: staying healthy, learning, and creating value for the world through my work.
Let me tell you about my Mission.
My mother gave me something she never formally named, but I’ve since called it the Fighting Spirit.
It’s the virtue of standing up for what’s right — whether that’s fighting for your own dreams, or showing up for someone who needs a hand.
That’s where it all began.
Some people just don’t fit the mold. My mission is to find them and use my expertise to help them.
I’m building a community of online mavericks.
Resourceful professionals who will turn their expertise into a reliable income online, on their own terms.
I want to help them build the life they dream about, with enough resources to fund their projects and bring security to their families.
I will fight for that, tirelessly. In honor to my mother. A true maverick who made me who I am.
Why I decided to call my brand The Online Maverick
In 2025, I discovered an English word that describes my journey like a mirror: Maverick.
My definition: A remarkable individual who hasn’t followed the conventional path of their close circle. Someone who chose to follow their genuine curiosity — despite the sacrifices, the misunderstandings, and the social pressure to just fall in line. Someone built different.
I added Online because I discovered that the Internet gives a maverick something extraordinary: the power to amplify who they truly are, and turn that into a vehicle for growth, impact, and financial freedom.
An Online Maverick can build a remarkable, one-of-a-kind career online by leveraging their unique expertise and way of thinking.
Something an average person will never even dare to attempt.
